10 Tips to Transform Your Marketing
Even if you’re not a diehard sports fan, I’m sure you’ve heard about the amazing feat achieved by #24 of the Detroit Tigers, Miguel Cabrera. With the regular season of Major League Baseball coming to an end, Miguel won the coveted Triple Crown by leading the American League in home runs (44), batting average (.330) and runs batted in (139), becoming the first winner in 45 years.
As if that’s not thrilling enough, PCG is feeling some of the excitement too, since we’ve been hard at work on the website and social media for his new foundation, the Miguel Cabrera Foundation!
As one of the biggest stars of Major League Baseball today, Miguel founded the Miguel Cabrera Foundation to help kids and families thrive using baseball as a path to reach the stars.
Dedicated to youth development programs, community ballpark makeovers, and “home base” youth leadership academies in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, Miguel and the Foundation are committed to giving back. Baseball has changed Miguel’s life, and now he wants to help others have the same opportunity.
Above that, Miguel is also nominated for the 2012 Roberto Clemente Award for his contributions off the field, including personally supporting Project Medishare for Haiti, Inc., donating to the Miracle League of Michigan, providing the seed money to launch Play Baseball Detroit, a youth baseball outreach program, among many other charitable contributions.
An amazing athlete AND giving back to the community? That gets a BIG thumbs up from us!!
